Google Earth and the multitude of mashups on the web have changed traditional GIS for the better, opening up all sorts of lower cost possibilities for interactive mapping on the web. Be sure to allow pop-ups within your browser.
Know where to ride across NY state!
This promotional website has been developed and continually enhanced in partnership with over 100 snowmobile clubs in NY State. New features are voted upon each spring by our customer base and include these recent enhancements: route planning along trails from point A to point B, share saved route with trail app or GPS receiver, and turn-by-turn navigation in the app. We've developed a similar project for the Vermont Association of Snow Travelers as well.
We are excited to announce our new partnership with AtlasTrax, with offices in Canada and the USA. AtlasTrax provides easy to install and use, “anywhere, anytime, any weather” communications equipment for snowmobile groomer tracking. Please contact either of us to learn more about the full suite of products and services both our companies can offer you, to make running your organization’s program much easier and provide way more benefit to riders at the same time.
Plan your next Adirondack adventure!
The Central Adirondack Association asked us to develop this site initially to promote their region from Old Forge to Long Lake and Indian Lake. The interactive map has expanded over the years to include all of the Adirondack Park. We continue to expand and enhance the data and functionality of this map viewer site based on requests from our user base. This viewer is intentionally non-responsive, as we have developed no-reception-needed trail apps for purchase in the App Store/Google Play Store.
City and Village Municipality Maps
Online access to everything a city needs
Most communities needed anytime, anywhere access to their GIS data. Unlike a City Engineer or Codes Enforcement officer, the various board members, mayors, clerks, assessors, and public safety officials only need casual, periodic access and have no need to edit data at all. A web-based GIS viewer is the logical choice. It is important that these viewers be easy to use, provide access to all data, offer some basic analysis capability and printing of maps with user-specified data and zoom levels. To date, all funding for our viewers has come from department budgets; no grant funding was needed.
Please contact us for access to these password protected viewers.
Get the most out of your visit to Cazenovia, NY!
The Cazenovia Area Community Development Association asked us to develop a promotional, interactive map website that showcases recreation and cultural offerings in the region. This interactive map is fully *responsive* and automatically behaves differently if the user is on a mobile device.
